Specialized Softboxes
Introducing our custom made Softbox lights.
These little beauties are designed with the South Pacific weather elements in mind. Balloons are challenging here as Helium gas (if available from Asia) comes at a high cost and lengthy wait.
The frames come in different sizes and shapes. Celine at 14’ x 14’ is the largest, there are two cube shapes 10’ x 10’ , 8’ x 8’ and three rectangular shapes 1.3m x 4.5m, 1.3m x 6m, and 3m x 6m. They are all easily assembled at your location, and are designed to have lights mounted inside and diffused through a cloth. Cloths come in either natural or colour corrected options.
They can be used suspended with a crane to give the effect of moonlight as shown here over water, or as a streetlight or whatever your scene needs. Alternatively studio roofs are the most sought after application.
They have been used with Arri Skypanel S60s, and Image 85s in a studio roof situation. The robust nature of ParCans makes these lights quite suitable on location.
